MISSION
STATEMENT
In order to achieve our mandate, the Office of Samoan Affairs (OSA)
commits itself to the following:
To effectively coordinate the
administration of American Samoa's district, county and village affairs,
and to supervise ceremonial functions when appropriate and in harmony
with the law and the Fa'aSamoa.
As an integral part of its mission, the
OSA will be the official public source for result-oriented, project
specific apparatus to empower the indigenous population, particularly
cultural leaders, to better manage traditional task processes for the
perpetuation and successes of their native way of life and the overall
benefit of the Territory. |
